Inflation hit 8.4%* in March - the fastest annual rise since 1981. Unfortunately, between the war in Ukraine, labor shortages, and an overheated economy, the steep rise in prices will likely continue for at least another year. And so we have yet another reason** to work at home as much as possible: to save money. Check it out:
Working at home two-days a week would clearly take some of the sting out of inflation. Of course, not all jobs can accommodate remote work - but many can, including most jobs in the following occupational groups:
Advice: if you’re still working full-time in an office or lab, figure out what part of your job you could do at home. If it adds up to several hours a week or month, talk to the boss.
